Slide guitarist Colin Linden juggles two careers — one as a solo artist and the other as a producer and sideman. He has produced 70 albums (including seven with fingerstyle guitarist Bruce Cockburn) and played on more than 300. Linden has accompanied Cockburn, Emmylou Harris, and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, and his songs have been recorded by The Band, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Keb’ Mo’. Linden also appears in Down From The Mountain, the documentary and concert film featuring artists who created the music for the movie, O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Linden has recorded ten solo albums, including 2009's From The Water. In our exclusive interview, he talks about making From The Water and his work with Bruce Cockburn
