A protégé of Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Robinson hails from Australia, where he started playing guitar at an early age. Hearing this 19-year-old (at the time of the interview) fingerpicker is inspiring and humbling in equal measure. It's rare to encounter such musicality in any player, much less one who's still a teenager. In his short career, he has already won numerous contests in the US and Australia and drawn accolades from such guitarists as Steve Vai, Les Paul, Brent Mason, Lee Ritenour, Brad Paisley, Dweezil Zappa and Steve Cropper.
