This is an excerpt from a 2003 interview with Jeff Beck conducted by Barry Cleveland, Associate Editor at Guitar Player magazine. Beck tells the story of going into the studio with pianist Nicky Hopkins, Keith Moon — the Who’s amazing drummer — and Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones before they went on to form Led Zeppelin. This historic session yielded "Beck's Bolero," an instrumental originally released in 1967 as a B-side single. We'll spin "Beck's Bolero" following the Beck interview clip.
