DON FELDER INTERVIEW
(Originally aired on September 6, 2012)
While in the Eagles, Don Felder created some of the most memorable lines and solos of the '70s, and his distinctive guitar harmonies helped define that golden era of California rock. And Felder's contributions to the band went beyond crafting powerful guitar parts - he cowrote a number of Eagles classics, including the music for "Hotel California." Felder left the band in 2001 and after a long haitus, he returned in 2012 with a solo album, Road To Forever. Remarkably, this is only his second solo album (his first, Airborne, was released in 1983).
In our exclusive interview, Felder describes recording Road To Forever and reveals how he approached writing and tracking the album's 12 songs. During the feature, we'll also hear selections from the new album.
